Dear fellow Students and comrades in the struggle, I use this medium to wish us all a happy new month and to our Muslim brothers and sisters currently fasting that may they find favour and pleasure in Allah. Eku ongbe awe.
With all respect and sense of humility, I have great delight in appreciating your contributions and efforts so far as regards the development of our dear Union and the Community at large both at home and diaspora. How about studies at our different institutions, it's the primary reason why our parents have sent us there and we should not fail in appreciating them by making them proud with our good and excellent results, and I pray that may God in his infinite mercy grant you your heart desires.
Greatest Fosuites! Articulate Fosuites!!
I will also use this opportunity to advise that we sincerely take advantage of time, because it does not have permanent friend or foe, very much in a hurry yet every one must lay hold to it to achieve any meaningful feat, so, I urge you to keep in focus, the centrality of time to your productivity and the overall growth and development of yourself, our dear Union and the community in general.
And to our primary and secondary school students, I want you to always know that the union has great and mouth watering plans for you. All you have to do is sit tight, read your books, be focused and participate fully whenever we come up with something for you.
FOSU, can only get better with us, thus, we haven't forgotten our campaign promises to you as we are working powerfully in full majority if not all of them.
At the same time it's pertinent to remind you of our pleas during the campaign and on the manifesto ground. The first one was your vote which you adequately gave and we appreciate that and won't make you regret that decision. The second thing we requested for is your support and participant throughout the year.
I trust us to do better in this aspect and hope that we will surely take FOSU back to her hay days.
