Just beLIEve that one day Nigeria would be a better place to
live in
i once had interest in Nigeria future bt when i discovered
Nigeria herself doesn't seems to put her future into
consideration i started losing interest. . .
I think i am not too wrong if i say the future of a country lies
in the creativity, productivity and literacy level of her youths.
Bt to my utmost amazement Nigeria and her rulers have no
interest in any of these rather they breed political thugs who
help in taking innocent lives when the need arises
For the past four months there has been no any academic
work on Obafemi Awolowo University thus making me think
of the need for the great awo to be told about what his Great
ife had been turn to
Last time i checked i was told Lautech Ladoke Akintola
University has been on strike for roughly two months with
no hope of resuming soon
Just a month ago the premier University in Nigeria UI,
resumed from her indefinite strike what an insult. The state
universities are not left out either, AAUA and KSU
respectively have also been home for a reasonable period
of time. I lost track of happenings at Uniport hopefully they
have resume from their indefinite strike...
Poly are also not left out the popular Rufus Giwa are also
home on indefinite strike though i heard one of them got
killed during the protest...
And now i am more than angry when i heard ASUU are
planning on a nationwide strike.
I knw u would agree with me that Nigeria needs help in her
Educational sector serious help
To my understanding, the primary and secondary schools
are not left out of these ill education stability. For the few
months Ondo and Oyo state schools have all been on strike
respectively due to one issue or the other.
My pen would have loved to keep bleeding bt i av to ans the
call of Nature and do the needful.
If all these should continue to be candid i hardly see a future
for Nigeria in Education...
Hopefully i can write on creativity n productivity soon.
